i had the double room which was spotless and tastefully decorated with heavenly bed. had fantastic location to local restaurant, only a short distance to clifton bingo club. it was also near to local attractions and restaurants as well as all that's going on.

York is lovely, and the hotel was beautifully maintained next to the river. Our small double room was fantastic and had tea and coffee provided. The location was amazing, being so close to York city center, attractions, and restaurants. The service was very good during our stay.

The room was well-appointed and immaculate with a shower, a hair dryer and bath sheets in the private bathroom. This location was great and stunning, near the centre of town, local attractions and restaurants and the banks of the river. It was 5 min drive from Rowntree Park.

Convenient location, close to city center. Two scenic routes to town, but not suitable for wheelchair users. Immaculate hotel, friendly staff with local knowledge. Welcoming atmosphere, would stay again. Delicious and filling breakfast.
